Post-Production Supervisor
The skills I will bring as a post-supervisor on your project include:
Organization
I am very particular in the way things are organized in every stage of the project, from camera card to finished deliverables.
I will make sure that your process flows as smoothly as possible.
Communication
I have worked with dozens of directors, producers, editors,
& specialists,
all with different preferences and ideas.
I will adapt easily to your team’s needs
& personalities.
Achievement
Working on many projects of varying sizes, I understand what to set as reasonable
timelines & goals
to create & meet.
I will ensure that your project will work efficiently & succeed.
Credited Projects
I have not officially been listed as the post-production supervisor for many projects, but my experience as an online editor (see “Broadcasting” for more info) allowed me to help mentor post-supervisors who were not experienced in the position.
The Lonely Master
2018
Feature Documentary
Dir. Scott Christopherson
On this feature, I started out as an assistant editor and worked my way up to Post-Production Supervisor. I worked with our remote editor to schedule due dates for sequences and cuts, mentored 3 assistants through the editorial process, and took care of troubleshooting the trickiest problems.
Room for Me
Summer 2018
360° video – Thriller
Dir. MarKaye Hassan
Working on Room for Me was a wild ride. This was the first 360° video that had ever been made at BYU, so everyone from the director to camera team to editorial was working in new territory. As post-supervisor I was in charge of ensuring that our schedule met the tight requirements of the program (Six-Week Cinema) while also assisting the editor, colorist, and audio techs in navigating this new medium.
